What is reiki?

Reiki (Rei - spiritual/god wisdom, Ki - life force energy).

Reiki is an intelligent, universal life force energy that works in the quantum field, where it is without the limitations of time and space, or past, present and future. For this reason, with intention, you can receive reiki energy from and to anywhere in the world instantaneously - with equal or greater effect (than an in person meet up reiki session)) regardless of where you are.

Traditionally known as a gentle, Japanese relaxation method available in person and remotely, and only goes to where it is needed/wanted.

Reiki works on a very subtle, energetic level, and knows exactly where to go and what to do - spanning the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual body and energetic system(s), powerfully yet gently rebalancing, restoring,promoting recovery, health and healing.

As a reiki master, I have been attuned to the highest frequencies of reiki which in a way is like ramping up the energy of a power supply to gain maximum benefit and support to you as the receiver, in the transmission of this energy.

Reiki is not a religion and is open to everyone. it is not a substitute for medical treatment and care, but instead has been used to aid recovery periods and assist with the healing process on an energetic and spiritual level - lifting mood, promoting calm and relaxation.

It is suitable for babies and children, adults, businesses, animals, land etc. with limitless applications and benefits.

Colour:

Colour is light. A vibrational frequency, or energy source that has visual, subtle level and aesthetic appeal, with potential to support the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of our lives and sense of well-being.

As light beings ourselves, we human are made of colour and light.

Our chakra system (energy system of the body) consists of the colours of the spectrum, and our auric field or aura (the energetic field around the body) is also made of colour (which I often intuitively ‘see’ with my Clair senses from time-to-time).

The art, science and spiritual realms of colour and its meaning, have filtered through me as a second nature, innate knowing and gift. It was therefore no surprise that when I started channelling reiki I see colour in my sessions. I am now so excited to be sharing this insight, knowledge and energy to help others through my colour reiki sessions.

What is Colour Reiki?

As a certified reiki master practitioner, and a colour intuitive, I combine and work with these supportive energies to assist, heal, inspire and help guide you.

As a unique, tailored service called Colour Reiki, reiki and colour work together, multi-dimensionally and in unison during the session with the energies (specific high vibrational frequencies that I translate through colour) to support you and your objectives.

You can receive reiki from me either as a Distant Reiki Session only, or as a Colour Reiki experience - combining both the distant reiki session with colour.

If you like the sound of colour and reiki…. your Colour Reiki session is a two step experience. This is how it works…

Step 1:

Personalised Colour Artwork/Chart:

Once you’ve made the booking and we have a set time for me to send you distant reiki, I firstly work on the colour sketch. This process is a stand alone intuitive ‘tool’ that I use to tap into your energy (be it an individual, building or business).

I ask you to send me a photo of yourself (/or address of place or business), and I begin sketching the colours that I sense and see when working with your energy field. This could be mental, physical, emotional, spiritual or soul- based and helps me to develop a clearer fast-tracked understanding of who, where and to what I will be sending the reiki. The colours created have their own unique combined resonance and often consciously connect and have meaning to the recipient even before I create the artwork.

While the energy and visuality of colours tell their own story, I am the translator and am able intuitively assess and discuss their meaning and relevance to you in context. In this work, the context and colour’s language is unique and specific to you (/what, where or who the colour chart-reiki is about and for).

The unique artwork or colour sketch represents your own energetic colour signature, opening the door of awareness and deeper understanding of ourselves and the appreciation of self expression through the creative and energetic qualities of colour.

On completion, I send you the images, and also a voice recorded message about the colour sketch and an overview of the session for your continued reference.

Step 2:

Distant Reiki Session:

Once I have your permission to send you reiki and you have included your ‘intention’ for the session, I then send reiki energy to you (or to wherever it is intended) as instructed. The session is remote, meaning you can be at home resting on one side of the world, receiving reiki energy I’m sending to you from the other side of the world.

In my case at least as a practitioner and conduit for reiki, from experience and also feedback from family and clients, distant reiki is a far more powerful way of sending the energy than an ‘in person’ session (being in the same room). One explanation could be there is no energetic distraction or ‘static’ to contend with, just tapping into the grid in a sense and simply receiving pure, uncompromised (reiki) energy.

As we are working in the quantum where there is no time and space, no past, present or future, the response time is immediate and the impact gentle, yet incredibly powerful and efficient. In my case,this is even noticeably more so now, as I’m tapping into, and working with the very high frequencies available for application in sessions as a Reiki Master. Reiki is an intelligent life force energy and knows exactly what to do. You may no feel any sensations or see visions during the session, but it is working. Reiki works on both a conscious and subconscious level, with so much happening in a balancing and supportive capacity at this unconscious level.

The reiki session is for approximately 30 minutes. At the end of the session I create and send to you another voice message outlining an overview of the reiki session that you have just experienced.

You will have the opportunity to provide feedback and for us to discuss any of the colour reiki experience created and channelled for you.

Background

Whether you describe it as vibration, resonance, frequency or simply energy, this is the common denominator in all my work and how I feel and translate experience.

I have trained, worked, researched, authored texts and taught in the field of colour for more than 40 years.

My journey with reiki started more than 10 years ago when I undertook my first reiki attunement - reiki level 1 training in Mackay, Queensland. Level 2 was soon to follow.

In 2021 I completed First and Second Degree Reiki again. This time professional training and qualifications in Usui/Holy Fire !!! Reiki Ryoho, New Earth Reiki.

After several years considering further reiki training, in February 2025 I completed my Master Reiki training with certification in Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki Ryoho and New Earth Reiki . The reason I chose to take my reiki journey to the next level was not so much to be a Reiki Master Teacher, but more specifically to be able to work with the higher frequency energies (reserved for reiki master attunement) to strengthen my distant reiki sessions and now offered as a Reiki Master Practitioner.

Sending reiki remotely somehow gave me a purer, more powerful result. I began seeing colours (as energy during the session), symbols and images, like a story unfolding.

For me, being intuitive involves seeing the energy around people, picking up on their own energy in terms of mood, temperament, life experience, health, perceptive and what’s happening for them at that point of time.

This has led me to producing intuitive colour sketches - as an artwork of you (or the person I am sending reiki too). The energetic signature can be a stand alone artwork, as well as an intuitive tool to “tap in” to your energy field before sending reiki remotely.

Colour and Reiki align beautifully together. My colour reiki sessions are uniquely designed and created with the highest intention and greatest good for each individual and their needs embedded in the integrity and benefits of my work and what I do.
